Prefer someone open to using Hoya Lift and/or lifting 115lb wife from bed to wheelchair. She is not ambulatory and uses a devise to communicate. A plus is someone with medical training but not necessary. She gets up around 10 a.m. and then back to bed around 2 p.m. for nap until 6 p.m. and back to bed around 8 p.m. for the night. About the care needs: It would be great if the caregiver was studying something in the medical field but not necessary. This person could also work full or part-time at another job. A healthy person who is able to pivot wife in/out of wheelchair occasionally and push her around our neighborhood is a real plus. She is fed with a feeding tube. Prefer someone who would rather participate in a sport rather than just watch it on tv. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
