About who needs care: My grandmother recently experienced a heart attack and subsequently underwent the implantation of a pacemaker. Currently, she engages in minimal activities throughout the day. We require temporary assistance to ensure she does not overexert herself during her recovery from the procedure. Typically, my grandmother begins her day with a shower, after which she prepares her breakfast in the kitchen. For the remainder of the day, she generally sits and uses her iPad, occasionally stepping outside to enjoy some sunlight. She is relatively low maintenance. About the care needs: It is essential to find an individual who is exceptionally patient and comfortable navigating a language barrier. My grandmother speaks Arabic, so ideally, the caregiver should be fluent in Arabic. However, she can also understand English, and there are other individuals in the household who can assist with communication if needed. I am looking for someone who can encourage her to spend time outdoors and sit in the sun. Additionally, the caregiver should be capable of providing support when she needs assistance using the restroom or showering. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
