Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Newark

About who needs care: My mother has Parkinson's disease and severe depression. She has trouble getting out of bed, feeding herself, bathing herself, or even leaving her bedroom. Ideally she would walk around the house and even sit outside for at least an hour a day. Take time to read the bible and pray. She is very religious and used to enjoy traveling and shopping. About the care needs: An ideal caregiver would be a woman who is friendly and has a warm attitude. Most ideally she would speak Chinese and/or believe in God as I believe my mom would feel more of a connection with someone religious and Chinese/Taiwanese. We need someone to encourage her to move and do her daily activities. And someone who can help her go to the bathroom, bathe, and eat. She is lonely and has little motivation to do anything. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
