About who needs care: Legally blind due to macular degeneration. Has some peripheral vision. Atrial fib (irregular heartbeat). Polycythemia (cancer of the bone marrow). CHF. Wears hearing aids. Post morning bathroom routine, sits in recliner most of day and listens to her soap operas and dozes. In good weather sits on the deck with the dog. About the care needs: She can be stubborn and demanding at times so need someone who understands the quirks of seniors and is kind & patient yet gently firm when needed. Needs to be supervised at all times when ambulating as she is a fall risk. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
