About who needs care: 73-year-old M with suspected dementia, difficulty caring for himself with hygiene, clutter and smoke in the house. Needs someone to be a strong source of accountability/setting boundaries and ensuring hygiene in the house Also married to 68-year-old F who has multiple sclerosis in wheelchair, needs support with transfers, household chores, etc About the care needs: Someone who can help take charge in the house, be proactive and identify organizational needs, be encouraging and firm with older people about building good habits eg eating healthy, regular bathing Should have a car to help with transport, should be able to lift 150 pounds to assist with transfers Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
