About who needs care: This mostly for my Dad however my mom also needs assistance with transportation to places like exercise class, grocery store and church. My dad has had a stoke and quadruple by pass surgery and is slowly losing mobility. He uses a walker in the house. . About the care needs: Nursing background preferred, kind, patient, trustworthy, caring and generally just an all around good person. These are my parents and if I lived closer I would be there everyday, so the person coming in to help them needs to be vetted by both my sister and I. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
