About who needs care: He had a stroke 17 years ago. He has lost use of his left arm and has limited use of his left leg (used mostly for stability). He can walk very short distances, but his muscles are very weakened. He often needs assistance getting up from the chair or toilet. Cognitively he is still quite sharp and a voracious reader and learner. He loves conversation, sports, learning about anything and everything. He reads on a lightweight kindle, but his eyesight is becoming poor. His day consists of light eating, watching TV, and frequent naps. About the care needs: Someone strong, kind, a conversationalist, must like dogs (they have 2 labradoodles). Able to assist with lifting and bathing as needed. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
