About the job
We need senior care provider with some experience. My mom is very mellow and well loved. While we have a hands-on family we aren't able to be with her everyday. She is pretty young, but has a neurological condition that has slowed her cognitive processing and memory. Our main concern is safety and hygiene. So she needs help with everyday tasks. Some everyday duties would be: Medication Prompting, Meal prep, Light Housekeeping, bathroom promoting, and help getting around the house. A person who would be great for this role is someone who has compassion for aging individuals and is interested in the medical field or seeks this work as a career. Experience with dementia is not required but would be greatly valued.
