About who needs care: I'm seeking care for my Grammy who is currently on hospice care. She been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, which she is no longer seeking treatment for after several years of living with this disease. She is primarily bed bound now, and needs assistance with fixing her breakfast and lunch during the day. She may need assistance out of bed to use her bedside commode or to sit in her chair. She sorts and organizes all of her medications herself, and would only need assistance to set up a breathing treatment. About the care needs: We are looking for someone who is very patient, and understanding. My Grammy can be very high maintenance, and very particular about how certain things are done. Aside from that she is a wonderful, and kind person who is always looking to share her generosity with others. Which is why it's also important we have someone we can trust that won't take advantage of her generous nature. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
