About who needs care: My mother is fairly mobile, actually still drives if has to. She is getting forgetful. She needs someone to come around 8:00 in the morning to prepare breakfast, make sure she is out of bed, feed the cat and clean litter box and occasionally do shopping or take her to an appointment. Typically would be about two hours per day. Daughter and family peek in at least every other week for a day or so, so can take on these duties when there. About the care needs: Needs to speak clearly because even with hearing aids my Mom cant always hear; my mother likes to talk and make observations so someone who can make small conversation would be good. My mother likes to read books so book suggestions appreciated (maybe occasional trip to library). Caregiver should be able to drive, like cats (my mom has one) Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
