Sweet 91 Yr Old F Needs Help In Her WLA Home 1x/week

91 yr old female w/dementia needs caregiver 1x/wk in her own home, WLA. Must have their own transportation for appts or outings. Mom had hip surgery 4 months ago, uses FWW in & out of home. She has multiple steps to the front door which she has mastered well with her walker and Standby Assist. Transfers are standby assist to Supervised. Needs hands on assist with dressing and some self care tasks. Has a physical therapy home program that needs to be followed daily- so some experience, or willingness to learn & implement exercise routine, is necessary. Experience with dementia and cooking is preferred. Mom is not combative but sometimes tearful. Although mom is not as conversational as she once was, she loves people and prefers someone who is engaging and can initiate conversation and social interaction.
