About who needs care: frontal lobe dementia, paranoia. My father and I are slowly integrating the idea of getting her help. She is fiercely independent but now knows she needs help with the basics. About the care needs: Someone patient and resilient, who can leave her alone at times but also pay attention to her. needs to be able to make conversation with my mother, as she does not like silence. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
