About who needs care: We need a dependable caregiver that can help her with getting to the restroom, bathing, meal preparation, getting her settled in for the night before you leave. Hours would be 7 days a week from 4pm-10 p.m. These hours may need to be adjusted a bit on an as needed basis depending on need for that day. You, (the Caregiver) would be responsible, trustworthy, have excellent communication skills and be able to follow directions all while being kind, fun and able to get the tasks completed while creating an enjoyable environment. This position is not a hard or stressful we really just need to have a caregiver there to help us with my mom avoiding any more falls or accidents. Current agency & client references will be required & verified prior to offer of employment. About the care needs: The ideal candidate would be responsible & trustworthy. We need someone who is empathetic but still gets the job done with kindness & laughter. One thing about this position is that the patient (my mom) smokes inside the home so the caregiver needs to be able to tolerate cigarette smoke the entire shift. (However if the caregiver smokes, they need to do so outside the home) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
