About who needs care: Type 1 Diabetic. Needs supervision of her insulin levels and diet. No other health issues. Lives in a home with her husband. Relatively independent, drives, goes to fitness trainer, read, etc... About the care needs: Female, drivers license required (will be put on family's insurance policy so she can drive car). Good English. Trustworthy, detail oriented. Ability to learn (if no experience) dealing with type 1 diabetics. Personable since the patient's family lives nearby and she likes to go her grandkid's events. Will take patient to her routing doctor's appointments so responsible is a must
