I'm Mom's 60yo son doing 24/7 live-in care for 5 yrs over 12k hrs. I need an assistant to work M-F FT, e. g., 8-4, ongoing long term to free me up. It's MUCH work. First 4 hrs of day 100% non-stop. The next 4 hrs is also busy but slowst. Very high fall risk. Can't stand or sit or walk on her own. Needs 2 hands on gait belt 100% of the time. Spine issues require feather light ups and downs 100% of the time. Typical day: prep a. m. first food and beverage before helping out of bed; hand washing help; monitor eating; then dressing. Then 2-3 more small meals during day during which up ea 40-45 minutes for assisted trips to toilet and walk exercise. Plus activities + PT + clear conversation in well-modulated voice; attention/monitoring. Daily schedule a must. Mask required. I'll monitor 1st 1-2 weeks; She is late 90s, 100 lbs , 4'7".
