About the job
Our young thinking/acting 86 yr. old mom fell and broke her right hip 2 months ago. She has been with us, her children, recovering and is eager to get back to her own life in Laguna Woods. She is currently walking w a walker and needs a hand physically here and there. Our care concerns are: Meals, Medication Prompting, Light Housekeeping, Help Staying Physically Active, Companionship. This position is for a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening. We expect she is still going to recover and become more independent but at this point, we don't really know. Shirley, has mild dementia and can be stubborn. She loves her garden, to make jewelry, pretty things, clothes, shoes, to eat out with her friends, shopping, her Science of Mind Church, her black/white tuxedo cat Romeo. She doesn't like cooking, exercise or routine.
