About who needs care: My loving father was recently diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. The job will mainly consist of providing daily structure to his life. We don't foresee this being a stressful or hectic role for the most part, as he loves to lounge and watch TV. Typical day would look like: Assistance getting up & dressed (experience with adult diapers must) Breakfast/snack prep Medication assistance/reminders Memory games/physical movement Taking walks/keeping active/mobility assistance Watching movies, conversation, keeping life engaging for Lunch/dinner prep Grooming 1-2x a week Incontinence assistance (when needed) Occasional assistance to and from appointments Light housekeeping (cleaning up after meals, restrooms for incontinence issues). Dad veteran and a lovely man, just needs help. (He can walk with assistance)
