My mom just got out of the hospital with hip surgery. We need someone who can help her: - getting in and out of bed - basic physical therapy (move her legs, get up, walk, go outside) - getting to the bathroom or using a bedside commode - bathing/showering - checking blood pressure - light cooking My mom has Parkinson's disease. It affects her physically more than mentally. She has a good memory. She weighs 85 pounds and has mild tremors but she is weak after her surgery, needs physical motivation more than anything. We're not sure how long we will need you or how many hours, more at first (ASAP) and will likely taper off. Let us know your availability and we'll go from there. My dad lives at home and takes a lot of care of her as well. They are super sweet people and this should be a wonderful position for someone caring.
