About the job
I'm looking for hands-on care for my wife in her early 50s. She is in the late stages of Early On-set Alzheimer's. Please be willing to assist her with most of her daily activities, responsibilities include: General Companionship, she has aphasia, so very limited speech can understand yes/no questions. Preparing a light lunch, water & snacks throughout the day. Daily bathroom assistance, with occasional accidents, wearing adult pullups. Very light housekeeping, load/unload dishwasher, light sweeping of the main floor. Responsibilities include feeding. We're looking for some help preparing meals. We are flexible on the schedule and requested days off, have my mother in law who has moved into the area to help assist with coverage. Willing to ad an additional day or couple half days of work coverage, if the fit is right for both of us.
