About who needs care: Early stages of dementia. She is able to get her own breakfast, make her bed and get dressed but just needs someone there in case she needs help. She has PT/OT, so you would be helping to encourage her to do exercises every morning. There is a notebook of pictures to guide the exercise. It would be great if you would plate her lunch for her because she's a light eater. Her 14lb Maltipoo is the love of her life. She can't walk her anymore, so you would be taking her for a brief walk. Maisy doesn't like to separate for long. Light housekeeping would be part of your two hours. Right now, we have someone M-F, so we're looking for weekends and someone to help as backup midweek. If we find the right person, regular weekdays would be a possibility. 2 hours is what works well right now, but this may increase with time.
