About who needs care: Hi! We are needing to transport my grandfather (93 y/o, wheelchair, catheter) from his apartment in Fullerton, CA to our house in Oxnard, CA We really just need help getting him here and assisting with his catheter... so, you'd be free to enjoy the day by the beach and just be "on call" if we need you to come by and help with his catheter. then, just be able to drive him home after our early dinner. About the care needs: They'll need a van that can lift a person in wheelchair or be skilled enough to transfer someone with a catheter. He is 6'3 and about 200 pounds. He was an engineer, worked with JPL/helped build the Hubble space telescope so he loves to talk about that, otherwise he sleeps a lot. He's very kind and will be so grateful to anyone that can help him see his grandchildren and great grandchildren for the day. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
