About who needs care: She has had a stroke that limited her mobility and is now wheelchair bound. I believe she is having early signs of dementia. Will sometimes have mood swings and get angry but everyone has abandoned her because of it. I am out of state so I can not help. She does not have any hobbies only watches TV. Needs someone to help with basic things throughout the house. About the care needs: Someone with patience, kindness, and ideally Christian so you can relate to her. Good listener and willing to have to repeat yourself since she has bad hearing. Skills with making appointments, organizing medicine for the week, and knowing how to navigate her medical needs such as calling doctors or advocating for her when she cant get what she needs Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
