About who needs care: My mother has been well and independent for years but 10 months ago she got cervical myelopathy that lead to her almost not walking or moving her limbs well at all. Doctors found that her spinal cord was crushed blocking spinal fluid to the rest of her body. Since the surgery 1 month ago she was in rehab for 2 weeks and now she is home. She has to learn how to walk again and her body needs to get strong again amd balance back so for now it is NOT safe at all for her to be alone since she can't go to the bathroom alone, make food, or shower. My moms overall hobbies is diamond painting, reading her Bible, watching her shows and going to church and Bible study. She live a simple blessed life. The hope for her help is to help her use the bathroom in the middle of the night, set up the morning and bed time. We have family and friend to help all in the mid day time. I pray there is service that can help my mom in this time, so I can see her strong and living life happy and comfortable again. I hope yall can help us! About the care needs: My mom polite, respectful, and very chill. The personality should be kind, caring, funny, faith base if optional as my mom loves Jesus. No special skills needed as my mom does her own meds and health well on her own. No special interest or hobbys required. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
