Companionship/Memory Care For My Mom

My mom wakes up round 6:30-8:00 every morning. She drinks her tea and works on word searches or watches tv. At 8:30 the caregiver for the day shows up, you will be required to put together breakfast and set out her medications. You'd eat all meals with her. After breakfast you would help her with her physical therapy stretches and have her shower. She can shower by her self she just needs prompting to get in. You would go for a walk before lunch (if weather allows and if she's up for it). Sometimes there's appointments in the afternoon you would need to take her to, but otherwise there's a list of simple chores that need to be done each day. After dinner you'd both change into pajamas and watch a show. She gets in bed between 8:30-10 p.m. latest. After she's in bed there is a guest room you'd stay in and you can go to sleep when you like. She loves to do word searches. We try to do puzzles with her, and she loves the show Virgin River. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, and a team player. The main job is to keep my mom safe and happy, other aspects of the job consist of light cleaning and cooking/meal preparation. She has 2 cats, friendly but cautious with new people.
