About who needs care: My name is Lynne and Im seeking care for my older brother D who is 76. He is able to dress himself feed himself do light laundry but at times he does get confused regarding the washer and dryer. He can boil hotdog. He knows how to make a sandwich but he needs help reminding him to take his medicine. He needs help with meal preparation and maybe just a companion. He doesn't really have any hobbies. He loves watching TV. That's what he does all day and all night just watch television. He is able to drive in the immediate area and maybe 10 to 15 miles away from his home. He does drive to church in Richmond every Sunday and I know he stops on the way back home to pick up food to eat. About the care needs: He is pretty much friendly. Likes to talk about sports, politics and stuff in general. Caregiver able to make meals preferably dinner and maybe lunch at times. But if brother had lunch meat, bread he can make a sandwich or heat up canned soup with the lid that can be opened without a can opener. He has tremors in his left hand mostly and he is left-handed. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
