About the job
I need a senior care provider with experience with dementia patients. My brother-law is 82 and needs support mostly to ensure he is eating healthy and taking his meds. Our care concerns are: Medication Prompting, Light Housekeeping, Help Staying Physically Active, Meal Preparation, Companionship, Errands / Shopping, Transportation. Medication management is required. Some light tidying up and laundry are also needed. We're looking for some help preparing meals. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). Applicants need to be registered with, or willing to register with IHSS.
