About who needs care: My uncle has dementia. He repeats himself often; needs help bathing, personal care, and meals; married for 60 years; my aunt is somewhat controlling, and needs a break (starting to forget: age 79) About the care needs: Its tough because my uncle is a very kind person. He loves soup, and knows how to eat it. He is very confused when they go out and get a big meal. He's not sure how to eat a meal (he just says he is not too hungry). He did enjoy rock collecting, antiques, but mainly loves to repeat stories about past times. He, preferably, needs a male to help him bathe, shave and brush his teeth (as well as prep a small breakfast and lunch, three days a week) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
