Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Escondido

About who needs care: This would be for two, my mother and my mother-in-law who both live with us. MOTHER- My Mom is a sweet little lady who is also used to being very independent but has become weaker through the years. She is diabetic and needs help with blood sugar checks. She is also a PD dialysis patient, but you would not have to do anything in regard to that. Her eyesight is very poor in one eye. She needs assistance with house chores, and supervision ambulating long distances. She is continent of bowel/bladder and may only need supervision/set up for showers. She does get winded easily and knows her limits and when to rest. She is requesting if she can get her legs/feet massaged due to neuropathy she tends to feel discomfort. MOTHER IN LAW- My in law is a very cute little lady who is 88 years old. She is easy to take care. She is just very hard of hearing, even with her hearing aids on. She needs assistance with meal set up and encouragement with eating. At times actual feeding because she takes 4hrs to eat when no one is helping her. She needs supervision/set up for showers. She needs more activities like going for a walk, gardening versus always lying in bed. She needs supervision walking as well. About the care needs: Both my mom and in law will try to talk you out of taking care of them and instead try to take care of you! They are both independent minded, lost their husbands over almost 20yrs ago. So for them to require more help hurts their ego. I need to find someone that can take good care of them yet not make them feel incompetent. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
