Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In El Dorado Hills

About who needs care: My gram is 105. Active and attentive mind, feeble body. Recent fall added to already limited ability in walking and standing. She now needs assists to get up from her lift chair or into n out of bed. Toileting is also a challenge at times. She sometimes does not make it and needs to be cleaned up. We now have a potty chair close by. We would like someone to shower her 1-2 times a week. My mother, her daughter, is currently her in home provider, and is a strong, alert 83-year-old- she now needs assistance of someone stronger. Grams knee and opposite shoulder were injured in the fall. She currently has PT and OT to recover her original mobility. She can shuffle walk once up and going. She can sit on a shower bench. We have lots of care equipment and will provide anything recommended. She has a strong faith (Christian), conservative politics and is passionate about food/cooking, hearing about travel and adventures - we try to avoid political conversations in regard to the current conservative administration - as they can cause GREAT family strife with some of us- yet the conservative news may be on tv here n there/ she loves life and hearing about other people and is overall a kind, interested and interesting lady. The day would be spent attending to her physical and mental needs and supporting my mom with the heavier lifting and moving of Gram- also assisting her toileting needs. About the care needs: Someone who likes to chat, is positive about most everything, can tease a little, does not mind hearing about Jesus here and there, willing to share about their own life and ask questions about Grams life, can laugh, make the toileting experience funny or at least bearable, stand watching some FOX news and help her avoid it- not accelerate the confusion. Anyone that can be interested in things and kind with people is the best! Hobbies/interests- food, cooking, gardening, travel, Hallmark, play dominoes or other games. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
