About the job
Live in caregiver for my mother in her 70s and stepfather in his 80s. She is largely independent and does not need much assistance with bathing or hygiene (just reminders) eats indecently. Dad needs help getting in and out of the shower and bed. Dementia exp reqd. for her. She will take her meds, and he can manage his. Both of them like to do their own thing. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation, driving, tidying the house, walking the dog when he visits 2x month. Must do shopping and small errands weekly. Clean driving record and insurance. Must be loyal, kind, responsible, non-smoker, CPR / first-aid trained + experience with elderly caregiving and dementia. All room and board incl & $1500-2200 monthly stipend cash. One overnight day each month off + Sat/Sun 8 am-6 p.m. off weekly.
