About who needs care: My dad has diabetes and cannot walk very well. He needs his foot wounds cared for and in-home exercise to keep his strength up. A care giver with a sense of humor and positive attitude is essential for him. My mom is active but her memory is failing. She needs someone to run errands with her, help her keep paperwork organized, and do simple handyman tasks around the house. They both also need meals made for lunch or dinner, but we could possibly get a meal service for that. About the care needs: Sense of humor, positive attitude (acts like he or she is happy to be there), experience with helping the elderly do modified exercises, ability to cook is a plus, not bothered by the smell of urine (my dad has trouble making it to the bathroom in time). Flexible hours. 15-20 hours per week?
