About who needs care: My father has Parkinson's and dementia. He has mobility issues as well. My mother is 83 and has colitis and oxygen issues. We are seeking help approximately 4 days a week with caring for my dad. Basic tasks like driving them to and from doctor appointments, preparing some meals, light housework, some laundry, taking out the trash, changing sheets, getting groceries, taking mom to Costco or Trader Joes and helping with heavy items. My father also needs some assistance with mobility. Both Mom and Dad do not drive. About the care needs: Number one quality would be integrity; someone trustworthy and compassionate and reliable. My parents are very sweet people so we want them to have a good fit. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
