About who needs care: Mother in law had a stroke early last year and has limited use of her right side (arm and leg). She uses a wheelchair and walker. She can walk but is a high fall risk and needs someone to walk alongside to assist. She needs assistance with bathing, hair grooming )combing and washing), laundry and dressing. She can dress herself, however it takes her awhile and over becomes exerting for her. She needs assistance with meal preparation for lunch and dinner. Grocery store runs for her personal meal preps required. She is currently on a healthy low carb meal plan due to needing to loose weight that was gained from being dependent on the wheelchair and not being mobile enough. She needs assistance with light exercises and range of motion to gain strength in her arms and legs. We encourage caregivers to create a schedule that works for our loved one and themselves to create a natural flow. Transportation and other errands at times if she has an appointment or other business to tend too, which may vary (Doctor, hair, bank).
Keep in mind Some of these tasks are weekly and will not be required daily, such as laundry, hair washing and etc.. She needs a companion (someone who meshes well with her), someone who will engage, converse, and actually build a relationship with her. We are looking for someone who is caring, understanding, compassionate and kind. However, not afraid to do their job and take charge when necessary pertaining to loved one. In addition to pay there will be opportunities for bonuses. Thank you!

Likes to converse and play games such as cards or dominos sometimes (not required but would be great)
Likes to watch movies and shows (not required but would be great)
Feels comfortable with building a relationship and being a companion
Light house keeping (necessity)
Able to run errands when necessary (current insurance registration)
Compassionate and loving
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
