About who needs care: He has Fragile X Ataxia Tremor Syndrome. Walking, using hands and swallowing can be problematic. He enjoys music, sailing and talking about his kids. He wakes up around 10-11am, uses the restroom, showers, then has breakfast, then typically naps throughout the day, or watches TV. Dinner is usually around 5 or 6 p.m. Then bedtime around 8:30-9:30 p.m. About the care needs: Someone with thick skin as he has lost his verbal filter from the FXATS. Also, he sometimes falls and needs to be lifted back up to his feet. Dad used to be in the wine business and was an avid sailor for years so anyone who can talk about those things would be an added bonus, but not required.
