About who needs care: Moderate Alzheimer's, High Cholesterol, Rheumatism. She has 2 cats and a dog that she needs assistance in caring for. She likes to play cards, socialize, watch tv and movies, and spend time with her dog. An ideal day for her would be to make sure she eats breakfast and takes her medicine, help her with mild food preparation, take a walk around the block together with the dog, take her to run errands and to the senior center, then in the evenings eat dinner together, play some cards and let her go to her room to watch her shows. About the care needs: An older woman who is patient, keeps to herself but is friendly. Someone will keep the house calm and quiet, and maintain privacy. No special skills are needed at the moment but must be able to cook and do housework. Hobbies like going to the movies and playing cards would be helpful. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
