About the job
About who needs care: Two 12. 5-hour shifts. 8:00am-8:30 p.m. My husband had a stroke- right side affected. He does a lot of rehab during the day so he needs help with doing his physical exercises including, stretching, walking, and hand exercises. Also walking our puppy and take her out frequently. Must like dogs. He needs assistance with bathing, standing transfers onto toilet. He uses a wheelchair but is using a cane with help to transfer and walk. Had stroke 4 months ago. Laundry, light cleaning. I am disabled myself otherwise I would do the exercises with him. About the care needs: Enjoy doing physical exercises/ rehab with him as he is getting better. Be a positive person. Love dogs. Nonsmoker. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
