About who needs care: The underlying condition is neuropathy and she relies on a walker. She lives alone unassisted. She does not drive and is basically homebound. She is relatively new to the area and has no friends. She need social interaction, basically someone to talk to. She used to do crosswords daily, but has given up all her hobbies. She is also hard of hearing. She might be up for playing a game or two. About the care needs: The person should be very kind and sweet, and preferably a Christian. She should also speak clear English with no accent. She should be very understanding if Mom is resistant, but also encouraging. No specialized skills or hobbies are required. Possibly making a sandwich or salad for lunch, and rubbing her feet. Services needed include: companionship.
