Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Canoga Park

About who needs care: The care is for my father-in-law. Since losing his wife 2 years ago, life has become very difficult for him. He struggles to drive on his own and has difficulty with basic tasks like taking his medications. He enjoys attending church on Sundays and he is a musician who loves jazz and classical music. Ideally, we would have a caregiver who could provide companionship when we cannot be there, help him to do basic household tasks, and drive him to various doctors appointments and church on Sunday. We believe 2 days a week is good for now, as we also visit him twice a week, but we expect his care needs to increase in the coming months/years. He wakes up very early in the morning so a morning shift that runs into the afternoon would be ideal. About the care needs: If the person had any appreciation or knowledge of jazz music that would be incredible. Music is his true passion. He plays the clarinet, although we dont believe he plays much anymore. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
