About the job
About who needs care: Good health but short term memory is disappearing. Likes to talk; pleasant and funny. We occasionally go out of town and need someone to house sit and keep her company off and on. Her days include rising mid to late morning and making her own breakfast then it varies. Sometimes my sister takes her out; sometimes she stays busy in her room, or sits outside if the weather is good. We only snack at lunch and then eat dinner around 5. Not necessary to cook dinner; we can have prepared meals available. We play Rummikub or Triominoes or cards after dinner, then heads off to watch tv then go to bed. About the care needs: Someone who has a sense of humor and patience but who doesn't hover over her. Ideal if you play Rummikub!!! Good listener. Services needed include: companionship.
