About who needs care: My mom is disabled after a stroke. She is able to walk very slowly with a walker. Because she is disabled she is sitting all day on the couch watching TV. She will exercise if she is being instructed, but she does not have the motivation to exercise on her own. My mom likes fashion and interior design, and she did like to walk around the neighborhood before her stroke. About the care needs: I would like someone to come by every working day and take her out for some walking. It can be the park, the store, wherever there are people. But she needs exercise. I need someone who is patient because my mom walks very slowly with her walker and is slow to transfer in and out of vehicles. Services needed include: companionship, and mobility assistance.
