About who needs care: Must be vaccinated, mask as appropriate. Help with continence care. Changing & washing bedding etc Cleaning, tidying studio apartment. Laundry. Helping with any small tasks she likes. She will lie in bed til the afternoon or sit in her chair all day if left to her own devices. Get her up and walking. About the care needs: Must be a calm presence. Not easily stressed or high strung. Able to work with mom & report any necessary or time-sensitive items to assisted living, communicating any needs or updates concisely via email after visits . I am extremely busy so unnecessary texts & phone calls are very distracting. Hiring a caregiver should reduce my mental load. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
