About who needs care: Sam is 73 and suffers from Alzheimer's disease. He is very intelligent and witty. He loves to read and is a music listener. He also loves anything outside like hikes or walks. Sam goes to a creative writing class on Mondays, and a music class on Fridays. About the care needs: I am looking for a caregiver who can bring energy to the relationship, and who is also a great empathetic listener. I am looking for someone who doesn't just want to take Sam where he needs to go but who also wants to be his friend and a special part of his life. Preferably someone younger in age who can bring enthusiasm and a spark into stimulating conversation. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
