About who needs care: My husband has DM, type 2, hearing loss, neuropathy both legs & feet with pain. Incontinent mild dementia, recently went from a walker around our home to a hospital bed, sleeps a lot. His name is Sonny, hes a nice man He is visited 2 days a week by Hospice staff & a RN. I am his wife of 60 yrs. I am 80 yrs old , I have been his caretaker since Feb, but I now realize I need help b4 I have severe stroke or heart problem. Kind compassionate person who can change him with my help, assure he is clean,, apply clean diaper& tee shirt maybe twice a day, change bed linen when necessary. Remainder of day help me keep my home clean by various tasks each day will discuss with right applicant Lunch included daily. About the care needs: A fairly strong man or woman, non smoker, no drugs, clean person, honest, good command of English, Compassionate & kind when interacting with my husband knowledge o how to clean a home I can train the right person.
