About the job
About who needs care: Ollie has late stage leukemia but isn't ready for hospice just yet. He is very weak and can barely walk but can still use a rollator with assistance. He is still mentally sharp and maintains his sense of humor. He spends his waking hours watching TV... mainly sports. My mother lives with him and is in good health but is not strong enough to lift him. I stay with him some night but am looking for someone to stay with him when I'm not available. About the care needs: Ollie requires minimal interaction and mainly needs assistance when he needs to go to the bathroom. He is very weak and a fall risk. If he falls he needs assistance getting back up. He weighs about 175 lbs and is 5' 11" tall. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
