About the job
I'm looking for companion care for my mother in her 80s. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with a small dog who is very friendly. My mom and dad live together but I would like for my dad to have a break and know that my mom is safe at home. She has dementia and just recently broke her hip and had a hip replacement, but gets around well with a walker. We don't want her to be alone at home for long periods of time. Looking for someone to come hang out with her, talk with her, and hopefully help her with some simple activities like puzzles or let her share pictures and stories. She does sleep a lot so sometimes she may be sleeping and you would just be able to hang out at the house.
