We need live-in home care to take care of my mother in Sun City. She experienced a stroke 7 years ago and her right side is paralyzed. She is in a motorized wheelchair and lives in her one floor condo. She needs someone to live with her and care for her. This includes: using a sit to stand to get her out of bed, showered (help with showering her) and dressed. Meal preparation and giving meds (Meds are managed and organized by a CNA). Light housekeeping such as laundry, making her bed and cleaning up after meals. Providing companionship and social interaction. If you drive, we have a wheelchair van where you can run errands (doctor's appts.,) or go out with her for a meal. Will be provided with a private bedroom and semi-private bathroom with all amenities and groceries paid for. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
