About the job
About who needs care: My aunt is a laid back cool lady. She has mobility issues and cannot be left alone. We need someone for three nights a week to provide respite care for my husband and myself so we can sleep in our own home. We need someone to stay from 7 p.m. to midnight. After she falls asleep the caregiver will have to stay to do light (very light) house work like a load of laundry or dishes etc. She's working with hospice. About the care needs: A female caregiver who is younger than 55 and able to go with the flow. This caregiver will be responsible for a small night time routine and assist patient to bed and ensure the patient takes night time meds. They will then stay at the home until midnight to make sure the patient has no needs. Once the patient is sleeping soundly the caregiver can exit. The patient has most of her cognizance and knows to stay in bed once there until I arrive at 4:30 a.m.
