About who needs care: My sister is in Hospice Care as she has metastatic melanoma in her brain and multiple organs. She has chosen to be home and discontinue treatments as the side effects keep adding up making her quality of life poor. She is fully dependent at this stage. She is not able to get out of bed. We need respite and help in general. About the care needs: Respectful, strong, experience with personal care, she will be in a hospital bed, willing to be nearby but also give space. Help to maintain a calm, soothing environment while allowing her young adult children to be her kids, not her caretakers. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
