About who needs care: Mom fractured a vertebrae and is experiencing a lot of pain. She has difficulty getting up from a chair on her own, but likes to be as mobile as she can be. Cant do laundry, cleaning or meals. Mind is sharp, with occasional bouts of confusion when in pain. About the care needs: My mom is amiable and easy to work with. She needs someone who is caring, kind and patient. She is a committed Christian and enjoys spiritual engagement when appropriate. However, she would be open to someone who does not share her beliefs as long as they are honest and trustworthy.
