I'm looking for companion care for my husband in his mid-60s. He is having back surgery on February 13th and will need help with everyday tasks for 2-3 weeks post surgery. He has been diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's (he is still very lucid, but can be obsessive, opinionated, and stubborn). I work outside the home and can't stay will him 24x7. We're looking for a companion who is not easily offended or frustrated. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.), letting the dogs out for potty breaks, any household task that requires bending (picking up dog dishes from floor, filling water bowl, putting laundry in/out of washer and/or dryer, etc.. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets (we have two small dogs).
